Volunteer Association Treasurer

Are numbers your thing?

We are looking for someone with accounting, finance or banking experience to join the Volunteer Association as Treasurer.

Our Treasurers help keep the Association’s finances organized and accountable. They prepare financial reports, maintain records, support budgeting and help manage banking and the annual audit process.

If you enjoy working with numbers and would like to use your skills to support your community, this opportunity may be for you.

Time commitment: Approximately 30 to 40 hours per month
Term: Two years

Training, guidance and ongoing support will be provided.

Leadership opportunities with our Volunteer Association draw on many different skills and interests.

Vice-President

Enjoy helping a team succeed?

The Vice-President works closely with the President and Volunteer Association Board. They help support the work of the Association and provide leadership when the President is unavailable.

If you enjoy teamwork and leadership, this role may be for you.

Time commitment: Approximately 10 to 15 hours per month
Term: Two years


Communications Director

Have a way with words?

The Communications Director helps keep volunteers and the community connected through newsletters, social media, promotional materials and other Volunteer Association communications.

If you enjoy writing, editing or communications, this role may be for you.

Time commitment: Approximately 20 to 25 hours per month


Executive Assistant

Do you like keeping things organized?

The Executive Assistant helps keep the Volunteer Association Board organized by taking meeting minutes, maintaining records and helping with correspondence.

If you are organized, detail-oriented and comfortable using a computer, this role may be a great fit.

Time commitment: Approximately 15 to 20 hours per month


Fundraising Director

Enjoy planning and bringing ideas to life?

The Fundraising Director helps plan and lead fundraising activities for the Volunteer Association and works with other volunteers to make each fundraiser a success.

If you enjoy organizing projects and working with people, this role could be for you.

Time commitment: Approximately 30 to 40 hours per month


Social Engagement Director

Love bringing people together?

The Social Engagement Director plans activities that give our volunteers opportunities to connect, have fun and build friendships.

If you enjoy planning events and making people feel welcome, this role may be for you.

Time commitment: Approximately 20 to 25 hours per month
