Endoscopy

If you are booked for a colonoscopy, you will have been given instructions on how to prepare for the procedure. It is very important to follow the instructions, as the bowel must be clean for the physician to examine. Failure to follow these instructions properly will result in the exam being rescheduled.

The exam will take approximately three hours. As with other day surgeries, you will require a ride home. We can provide access to a phone to call when you are ready to go home.
