Hours of Operation:

The clinic operates two Fridays each month, depending on physician availability.

Location:

Park in the Robinson Street parking lot and use the hospital’s main entrance on Robinson Street. Check in at the Patient Registration Desk (located on the main level, next to the Emergency Department) for further instructions.

How to Access This Service:

Referrals to the Joint Injection Clinic are made through the McMaster Orthopedic Clinic, with a focus on serving local residents.

To prepare for your appointment:

  • Bring your Ontario Health Card.
  • Have a list of your current medications ready.
  • Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time to complete registration and any necessary forms.

We are working on a streamlined referral process to make accessing care even easier.

The Joint Injection Clinic, which opened on December 13, 2024, is dedicated to treating patients with joint pain and injuries. Led by Dr. Femi Ayeni and a specialized team from McMaster University, the clinic provides:

  • Targeted joint injections for pain relief
