Thanks to the Simcoe Lions Club, every celebration at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home (NHNH) just got a little more special.
The club has generously donated $1,010.96 to the NHNH Activity Department to purchase new tablecloths. These tablecloths will help create a warm and festive atmosphere for important occasions like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving dinners, family socials, and the annual Christmas Bazaar.
“Our valued community partners, like the Simcoe Lions Club, make such a big difference,” said Linda Schaeffer, Activation Coordinator at NHNH. “Their support helps us create joyful experiences and lasting memories for our residents. A huge thank-you to the Simcoe Lions for their kindness and dedication to our community.”
The Simcoe Lions Club’s donation ensures that NHNH can continue hosting special events in style and as a bonus, these events bring residents and their families closer together.
“The Simcoe Lions Club is honoured to support the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home and its residents,” said Bill Easdown, a member of the Simcoe Lions Club. “We’re involved in several community initiatives, and it’s always rewarding to see the difference we can make. These tablecloths may seem like a small thing, but they help create special moments for residents and their families, and we’re proud to be part of that.”
For the residents of NHNH, little details—like new tablecloths at a family dinner—make all the difference. They bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of home to every special occasion. Thanks to the generosity of the Simcoe Lions Club, these moments will be even more meaningful and memorable for years to come.
