Support Norfolk General Hospital on GivingTuesday

Did you know that while the province funds hospital operations, it’s the generosity of our community that provides the vital medical equipment we use every day? This GivingTuesday, December 3, the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation invites you to make a difference by supporting our Labour and Delivery Unit, ensuring exceptional care for families in Norfolk County.

For nearly 100-years, Norfolk General Hospital’s Labour and Delivery Unit has been at the heart of our community, welcoming approximately 180 newborns last year alone. However, the equipment that makes this work possible relies entirely on the support of donors like you.

“GivingTuesday is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and support the vital work happening at Norfolk General Hospital,” says Emma Rogers, CEO of Norfolk General Hospital. “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our supporters and our Community. Your contributions not only enhance our services but also help us continue providing exceptional care to families in Norfolk County. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the lives of those who rely on us, and we couldn’t do it without the ongoing support of our community.”

Also, this GivingTuesday, McDonald’s on the Queensway in Simcoe is teaming up with the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation. Purchase a Grinch Box on December 3, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to our Labour and Delivery Unit. Join us for a community lunch at McDonald’s from 11:10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., or stop by anytime throughout the day to participate in this meaningful partnership.

Community contributions have already funded life-saving tools like an X-ray machine, a mammogram machine, a CT scanner, and vital sign monitors. This GivingTuesday, your generosity can help us continue this proud tradition, ensuring our Labour and Delivery Unit remains ready to serve families for generations to come.
