(NGH) – February 6, 2023 – The Norfolk General Hospital Foundation would like to thank Robinson Buick GMC for their generous $3,525 gift to support the highest priorities at Norfolk General Hospital (NGH).
Robinson Buick GMC raised the money through a fundraising initiative called “Cars for a Cause”, where during our assigned months, NGH earned a portion of the proceeds from each car sold. In its inaugural year, Cars for a Cause sold 141 vehicles bi-monthly, supporting the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.
The cheque was presented to Penny Bellhouse, Executive Director of the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation, by owners Ted Kohli, Amit Kohli, and Sam Hirani.
“We sincerely appreciate third-party fundraisers like Cars for a Cause. We couldn’t achieve nearly as much in our small community without them.” – Penny Bellhouse, Executive Director Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.

About Norfolk General Hospital Foundation
The Norfolk General Hospital Foundation raises funds to support capital improvements to the Hospital. This would include projects like renovations to the hospital and purchasing new equipment, items that are not fully covered by the Ministry of Health. In all that we do, we work with the hospital to continuously improve patient care.
Every dollar the community donates will help ensure that physicians and staff at Norfolk General Hospital have the best medical technology they need to provide every patient with exceptional care. We understand the unique needs of our community and those who need the services provided by the hospital.
