Date issued: Tuesday, March 17, 2026

Simcoe, ON – Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) invites community members to apply for an opportunity to serve on its Board of Directors.

Board members help guide the hospital’s direction and long-term priorities. They provide oversight for quality of care, financial stewardship, and governance.

“Serving on the Board is a meaningful way to support healthcare in your community,” said Peter Krause, Chair of the Norfolk General Hospital Board of Directors. “We are looking for people who want to share their experience, ask thoughtful questions, and help guide decisions that affect patients and families across Norfolk County.”

The Board of Directors is made up of volunteer members from the community. Members attend regular meetings and may also serve on board committees. The Board meets approximately nine times each year.

NGH welcomes applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Experience in areas such as finance, health care, or legal fields may be helpful.

Norfolk General Hospital is committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from every background and experience. Diverse perspectives help strengthen decisions and support equitable healthcare.
