NGH welcomes its first baby of 2025!

(Simcoe) – Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) is thrilled to introduce Kaitlyn Klassen, the first baby born at NGH in 2025!

Kaitlyn made her grand entrance on January 2 at 1:34 p.m., weighing a healthy nine pounds and ten ounces. She is the cherished daughter of Jake and Elizabeth Klassen from Walsingham, Ontario.

Kaitlyn’s arrival was guided by midwives Kimberly Tigani and Juanita Peters, and our dedicated team of nurses. Together, they ensured a safe and memorable delivery for the Klassen family.

In 2024, NGH proudly welcomed 244 babies into the world. Each arrival is a testament to the exceptional care and dedication of our team.

To celebrate this special occasion, NGH presented the family with a keepsake pewter piggy bank and a cuddly stuffed elephant plush toy to commemorate the first baby of the new year.

NGH extends its congratulations to the Klassen family and wishes them all the best as they begin this exciting journey together.
