COVID-19 Outbreak on NGH’s 4B Unit declared over

Norfolk General Hospital (NGH), in consultation with the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit, has officially declared the COVID-19 outbreak on the 4B unit over.

Thanks to strict safety measures and teamwork, the situation was successfully managed, and the unit has now reopened to visitors following NGH’s visitation policy.

We remind everyone that wearing masks is highly recommended in certain areas of the hospital, such as inpatient units and the emergency department. Masks are available at all entrances. If you are feeling sick, please avoid visiting the hospital to help keep patients and staff safe.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our staff for their dedication and hard work in bringing this outbreak to a successful end.
