The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) directs and controls the overall functioning of NGH. It is responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating the delivery of care and all related aspects.

Todd Stepanuik is a Certified Health Executive and holds a degree in Hospital/Business Administration. He is immediate past president/chair of the Canadian Chapter of the American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE) and was recognized in 2020 with a Service Award for his commitment to the healthcare management profession. He was also the recipient of the senior healthcare executive of the year award in 2021.
Todd brings with him an extensive background in healthcare with over 30 years of executive leadership experience as President & CEO and demonstrated dedication to quality healthcare and patient safety.
Todd joined the Norfolk General Hospital and the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home family in July of 2022. Prior to his arrival, Todd had been serving as President & CEO at the Middlesex Hospital Alliance in Strathroy, Ontario for the past nine years.

Amanda Sonnenberg
Vice-President of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer, Norfolk General Hospital and West Haldimand General Hospital
Amanda is a Registered Nurse and health care leader with nearly 20 years of experience, including 15 years at Norfolk General Hospital. She was born at NGH and is proud to serve the community she calls home.
She now serves as Vice-President of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer for Norfolk General Hospital and West Haldimand General Hospital. Her work focuses on quality of care, improving access, and supporting safe transitions for patients and families.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western University and a Master of Health Studies from Athabasca University. She is a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders and is committed to patient-centred care, strong teams, and care close to home.
Dr. Robin Martin-Godelie
Chief of Staff
Dr. Robin Martin-Godelie is a local Family Doctor with a special interest in Palliative Care. She has been an active staff member at the hospital since 2005. She completed her undergraduate degree and medical school at the University of Western Ontario and her family medicine residency at McMaster University. She now acts as a clinical preceptor for the Family Medicine Residency Program of McMaster University – Grand Erie Six Nations Campus.
Since coming to Simcoe in 2005, Dr. Martin-Godelie has been engaged in several positions at the hospital, including Chief of Long-term and Palliative Care, Vice President, and then Secretary-Treasurer of the medical staff executive, and the Chair of the Medical Quality Committee. She is also active with the Stedman Hospice Outreach Team, providing hospice palliative care in the community, and sits on the board of the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice, working towards a Center for Hospice Palliative care located in our two counties.
Dr. Martin-Godelie is a strong believer in the power of communities to support health and wellness and is committed to the ongoing quality care at Norfolk General Hospital. She is a current resident of Port Dover with her husband and two children.
Lisa Granger, CHRL
Vice President People Strategy and Chief Human Resources Officer
Lisa Granger is the Vice President People Strategy and Chief Human Resources Officer for Norfolk General Hospital, West Haldimand General Hospital, and Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home. She brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience across the public and private sectors, with expertise in labour relations, workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement.
Prior to joining the organization, Lisa served as the Chief Human Resources leader for the Municipality of Lakeshore, where she led all HR functions and supported initiatives to strengthen workplace culture and employee engagement. She has also held HR leadership roles with the Municipality of Leamington and in the automotive sector.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources from Davenport University. She is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and a Certified Municipal Manager Level III – Human Resources Professional.
Dan Hill
Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Dan Hill has been with Norfolk General Hospital since 2021. A Certified Professional Accountant, Dan has been serving as a financial executive in rural community hospitals since 2011. Dan is responsible for providing strategic direction to Norfolk General Hospital, West Haldimand General Hospital, and Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, including finance, purchasing, support services, capital development & facilities, patient information, information technology, pharmacy, lab, diagnostic imaging. Dan is an active member of an Ontario Health Team and is passionate about working with partners to deliver high-quality integrated care close to home in our communities. Dan started his career in public accounting and has had several roles, including Manager of Revenue at a company that produced medical imaging software before moving to healthcare.
