Find a Doctor

Finding the right care can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially if you do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner. We are here to help. This page explains your options and how to get the care you need in Norfolk County and across the Brantford Brant Norfolk Ontario Health Team (BBN OHT) region.

If you don’t have a Family Physician

Health Care Connect

If you do not have a primary care provider, register with Health Care Connect.
This Ontario Health program helps people without a family doctor or nurse practitioner find one in their community. Once registered, you will be matched when a provider is accepting new patients.

Primary Care Access Clinics

If you live in Brantford, Brant, or Norfolk and do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, you can now book an appointment at a Primary Care Access Clinic.

These clinics provide short-term, non-emergency care for people who are not currently attached to a primary care provider. Each visit includes support to help you register with Health Care Connect so you can be linked to ongoing, long-term care.
