Health screening and police check clearance requirements may take up to 6 weeks to complete. Volunteers are able to begin after submitting the required documentation.

Volunteers are accepted and placed where there are opportunities that fit the availability and interests of the volunteers. At times, there will not be a fit based on availability and skills of the individual. We are not able to guarantee placement.

Volunteers are placed in specific roles that match the needs of the patients/staff as well as the individual volunteer.
We expect volunteers to commit to one shift per week which range from 2 -4 hours in length.

Our goal is to place volunteers that support the patients/staff and fulfill the interests of the volunteer. If you find your placement is not meeting your expectations we will attempt to find a more suitable role.
