Temporary parking lot access to be constructed at the corner of Bellevue Avenue and West Street
(Simcoe) – Due to the construction on West Street in Simcoe, some temporary changes will be made at the Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) West Street entrance parking lot.
A temporary access point will be installed at the corner of Bellevue Avenue and West Street. This new access point allows motorists to enter the West Street parking lot and exit onto Bellevue Avenue. Upon exiting, all vehicles must turn right onto Bellevue Avenue and will be directed through the nearby subdivision. Clear signage will guide traffic and inform the public about these changes.
These temporary arrangements will be in place from Monday, June 10, through Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Further updates will be provided as necessary, particularly regarding any impacts on parking or site access.
Please be assured that the public, emergency medical services (EMS), and ambulance crews will maintain quick access to the Emergency Department throughout this period.
NGH appreciates the community’s cooperation in allowing construction crews to work safely and efficiently. The ongoing construction on West Street is scheduled for completion by approximately June 14, 2024.
