Norfolk General Hospital celebrates National Pride Month
June is Pride Month, and Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) wants to show its support to the LGBTQ+ community.
Pride Month recognizes the impact that Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex people, including Allies have had in the world. It is also a time to acknowledge their history, the hardships they have endured and the progress that has been made.
NGH is proud to celebrate Pride Month and demonstrate our commitment to a kind, accepting, and inclusive culture for all.
We believe it is important that everyone who enters our hospital feels valued, safe and cared for. At NGH, we strive to treat one another with dignity, respect, and compassion as we value equity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
We are committed to making our hospital a safe place for the LGBTQ+ community. Everyone is welcome in our hospital.
We wish everyone a safe and happy Pride.
