With an influx of motorcycle traffic expected in Port Dover, Norfolk General emphasizes the need for caution and adherence to the guidance provided by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Adam Isaacs, Director of the Norfolk General Hospital Emergency Department and ICU, stresses the importance of refraining from drinking and driving and riding with utmost caution.

“As Port Dover becomes the gathering point for motorcycle enthusiasts, a surge in motorcycle traffic is anticipated.” Adam  further underscores, “We strongly urge everyone to heed the guidance of the OPP: prioritize safety, refrain from drinking and driving, and ride with utmost caution.”

In an effort to bolster safety throughout the day, a team from NGH will work hand and hand with first responders, including a physician, at an on-site medical care facility. This partnership aims to guarantee that anyone in need of medical attention receives prompt and efficient care.
