Delhi Branch fundraising concert welcomes The Soenen Sisters for “A Valentine Ensemble”

(DELHI) – Prepare to be captivated by an enchanting musical experience as the Delhi Branch of the Norfolk General Hospital Volunteer Association proudly presents a fundraising concert on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Hosted at the Delhi United Church at 2:30 p.m., the spotlight will shine on the remarkable talents of The Soenen Sisters with their captivating performance, “A Valentine Ensemble.”

Known for their musical expertise, The Soenen Sisters will dazzle audiences with an extensive repertoire of over 300 songs covering various music styles like classical, Broadway, Celtic tunes, and hymns. These talented performers have refined their skills through university-level music education, demonstrating their mastery across multiple instruments such as cello, harp, flute, and piano. Their harmonious vocals promise to stir your soul and leave you spellbound.

“Music has an extraordinary power to unite and heal,” said Margaret Saunders, an NGH Volunteer and event co-chair. “At our upcoming fundraising concert with The Soenen Sisters, we’re blending beautiful melodies and community care. Come join us for an amazing night where each song supports Norfolk General Hospital and the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home. Your presence and contributions will help us build a healthier tomorrow, one song at a time.”

All funds raised at the concert directly supports the purchase of essential medical equipment for Norfolk General Hospital and the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, cementing a lasting legacy of community healthcare support.

While many aspects of healthcare are covered by government funding, buying new and replacement hospital equipment isn’t one of them. We rely entirely on donations from the community.

For ticket information, please contact Margaret Saunders at 519-582-0796 or Judy Boughner at 519-582-3892. Tickets are also available for purchase at the Norfolk General Hospital Gift Shop located on the main floor on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm, providing everyone an opportunity to participate in this musical extravaganza while contributing to a noble cause. Tickets are $35.

We invite you to spread the word about this exciting event and extend our heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable support!
