COVID-19 Outbreak declared over at the NHNH

The Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home’s (NHNH) COVID-19 outbreak has been declared over, in consultation with the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit.

The outbreak at the NHNH was declared on January 14, 2022. In total, two residents and one staff member contracted COVID-19. All appropriate actions were taken to ensure the safety of our residents, and staff.

We thank our staff whose expertise and teamwork brought this outbreak to a close. Our thoughts are with those whose wellbeing may have been impacted during this outbreak.

The Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home remains vigilant in following the Infection Prevention and Control safety measures in place to protect our residents, our staff and our physicians during the COVID-19 pandemic.
