The General Medicine unit offers care for adult patients with a variety of complex medical conditions, such as Congestive Heart Failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. This is complex, acute care environment, where team work, and patient safety and best practices are the back drop for providing the best patient care and driving patient and staff satisfaction. 

The interdisciplinary team includes Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Physicians, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nutrition Services, Discharge Planning, Pharmacy and Respiratory Therapy.
