Medical Floor - 3E

3E is a 31 bed medical unit that specializes in the care of adult patients with a broad range of diseases and significant, complex medical diagnoses.

Patients requiring End of Life/Palliative Care are accommodated on 3E in three specially designed rooms that provide a comfortable more home-like environment.       

The medical unit is staffed by Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses with support from Physiotherapists, Respiratory Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Discharge Planners.  Physicians who admit to 3E are either General Practitioners or Internal Medicine specialists.
