Parking

Daily Parking rates $6.00 - Monthly $35.00

Hospital Parking is available at the Robinson Street entrance for a $6.00 charge/ $35.00 monthly rate. The box takes quarters, loonies and toonies.

A change machine is located on the main floor by the elevator.

Discharged patients should be picked up at the Robinson Street entrance.

West street (Emergency parking) is intended for short term use for emergency drop offs and for those checking in with Triage or Registration.  Parking is limited to 15-minute intervals to ensure convenient parking spaces are available for those who require it.

With the exception of available handicap parking, all emergency parking spaces are closely monitored for appropriate use.

Fines will be subject to those vehicles that are parked beyond the allotted time or found to be in violation of other parking regulations. Penalties range from $30 for a 15-minute parking violation to $300 fine for illegally parking in a disabled person designated parking space. Fines are paid to Norfolk County. Unpaid tickets are subject to additional fines and late fees.

Smoking

There is a No Smoking Policy at Norfolk General Hospital for all visitors. Smoking is only permitted in the designated west street area.
