To email a loved one or friend, simply complete the form below and click the send button. Your message will be received by our volunteers, printed and confidentially sealed. Messages are delivered directly to patients from 9:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Emails received on weekends and holidays will be delivered the following business day.

Our volunteers will take great care to safeguard your privacy, but please do not send sensitive subject matter. We suggest that you do not put anything in the message that you would not put on a postcard.

Patients are unable to send electronic replies to correspondence they receive while in the hospital nor receive photos or attachments. If a patient is no longer in hospital, your message will be discarded. NGH is not responsible for patient emails that are misdirected, lost or accidentally deleted from the system.
