Simcoe, ON – Thanks to the Bikers Rights Organization (BRO) of Erie Shores, the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation has added $1800.00 towards the Operating Room Revitalization Project, the third and final stage in the ‘Lend a Hand’ campaign.

“I’ve spent a lot of time in hospitals over the years. We all have family in this area and we know there aren’t as many large companies as there once was. This is why we continue to raise funds for NGH,” said Vern Ferris, BRO treasurer and provincial liaison. “It’s important for us to keep our hospital and have the equipment that’s necessary to ensure we have the health care that is needed,” said Ferris.

“We really appreciate the Bikers Rights Organization fundraising efforts throughout the year and thank them for choosing to support our hospital,” said Kelly Isfan, NGH president and CEO.

The Bikers Rights Organization of Erie Shores has become known for their strong voice for area motorcycle enthusiasts, promoting safety, advocacy, friendship amongst fellow riders and improving the understanding and awareness of motorcycles and enthusiasts.

Over the last six years, Bikers Rights Organization of Erie Shores has donated nearly $7000.00 to the NGH Foundation. Monies raised are generated through Motorcycle Monday’s held from June to August and their popular breakfasts at Angelo’s of Dover held during the warm months of Friday the 13.
