NHNH Respiratory Outbreak Advisory

Simcoe, ON – A respiratory illness has resurfaced at The Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home. There are currently 3 residents showing symptoms of cough and runny nose.

Precautions include; resident isolation, increased cleaning, signage, limited group activities and a halt to new admissions and transfers. The Nursing Home will maintain communication with direct family members.

At this point there are no visitor restrictions however if you are feeling ill, please avoid visiting the Nursing Home.

Outbreak precautions will remain in effect until further notice. If family members have any immediate concern about their loved one, please contact the Nursing Home. (519) 426-0130 Ext. 6972, 6971

When entering our Hospital or Nursing Home, please wash your hands or use one of the many hand sanitizing stations available.
