 Welcome to the web site for the Norfolk General Hospital. Norfolk General Hospital is a progressive full service 106 bed facility which has been operating since 1925. Approximately 4,000 patients are admitted annually while scheduled out-patient visits every year total more than 70,000. The annual operating budget for the Norfolk General Hospital is in excess of $40 million.
Our hospital has a state of the art CT scanner and an electronic medical record system. We support lifelong learning for our professional and support staff. The Norfolk General Hospital has been recognized provincially and nationally for various initiatives including the Health Science Perspective Program in partnership with Simcoe Composite School and Energy Conservation.
